Anyone in the northern states (MN/WI/MI ..possibly IA/IL/IN/OH and points east) are probably in for the first widespread frost. Check your local forecasts or let me know and I can give you a heads up. My second love after gardening is the weather, so I tend to follow these things closely.
A hard freeze is looking very likely around Oct 12th according to quite a few model runs over the past few days. Showing a huge blast of nasty cold coming down into the US from our friends to the north.
My garden is pretty much wrapped up here in southwest WI, with just the raspberries, eggplant, peppers still going.
. I'll have to check my local forecast and possibly pick all my beans.
