Green beans second crop.

I only planted 1 row of blue lake bush beans in the spring.

First week of August I planted 3 rows of beans where the corn was. I watered them and they were up in 3 days in 95 to 100 deg weather.

Couple days ago wife picked a large basket of beans from 1 row. Need to pick more beens. Looks like we will have beans until frost thats about Halloween.

I didn't plant a succession crop of beans, but the ones that were planted in April have gotten their second wind, now. Just picked a gallon about 2 hours ago....

Gix, you still have time to do a second crop of radishes, they grow well through frosts. Oh, and lettuce will produce well into the cold as well.
