Fall onions?
I would like to plant fall onions but no one has any onions sets. Can I plant grocery store green top onions to grow large slicing onions?

I just started a thread about this myself somewhere on here.
From what I have come up with fall plantings require direct seeding.
Good luck and do it soon I'm still learning but you don't want to put them out too late from what I know.
I will be putting them out a little late but that is because my good spots still have something growing there. and well I am not going to sacrifice a good plant for an experiment.
