winter garden

hello new to the garden thing right now I am growing 3 tomotoes 2 green bell pepper's and hot pepper. So I like to know what you think that I can growing in Washington in the fall and winter? and at what time should I start?

rainbowgardener, coonster shouldn't take into account the soil type and ph ? Is it close to acid or basic ?
I face almost the some problems

I presume OP is asking about veggies. Just needs to make a bed of nice rich organic soil for growing veggies in. Whatever soil you start with, if you add enough compost and other organics, then you have a veggie bed.

If you want to be technical most veggies prefer soil that is just on the acid side of neutral (maybe 6.5 or so), but they will do fine with neutral.
