Squash in a cage

I am new to gardening. I had a squash that looked like it needed support so I put a tomatoes cage. Now the plant is big and looks great, bigger than the ones not in a cage, is it ok to leave it in there or should I remove the cage ?

I grew mine in cages last year. It was so much easier to harvest and took up less room in the garden! It will be fine in there!
