sprout attack
as we're new to growing veg we started some sprouts following seed packet directions all was going well then they started being eaten by something just the big leaves the stalks seem strong but no sprouts forming as yet . we don't seem to have any slugs in the garden. so what could it be?

no no slugs or snails nor pigeons and no rabbits only seem to get butterflies and bee`s and mothsdecam0 wrote:You must be the luckiest gardeners in the world not to have slugs in your garden!
Do you have snails? Or pigeons? Or rabbits? Any of these could be the culprits.
Are you SURE you don't have slugs? Where do you live? I'm moving out there!![]()

If you have butterflies, they're likely begetting caterpillars.
Also, even if you havent seen any of them, they may just be hiding. My slugs are always out at night, which makes them a lot harder to see. Same goes for a lot of things, an I cant blame them given the heat.. You might want to take a flashlight and a couple lanterns out to check them out after dark.
