Spots on my green beans

I have spots on my green beans. They were bush beans but I don't remember which variety they are. Does anyone know what they are? Is it safe to eat? The picture is the worst of the beans I have. Most of the beans are fine, and the rest have mild spotting.

(This is the first time I have tried to include a picture. Hope I did it right.)

It could be alternaria leaf spot or a bacterial blight. Here are some resources for bean diseases.
