That's interesting. So, does the flavor change when it goes from black to red? At what color do you harvest it?

Garden5 that's a good question, one which I can't truthfully answer. All I know is that as a beginning gardener, I watched my new green peppers change from what I thought was them being sun scaled. I noticed that the texture of the peppers remained firm so for whatever reason I decided to just go with it and see what would become of them. I thought sharing this would be helpful in case anyone else shared a similar experience with unfamiliar territory! My plans are to harvest these when they are completely red.

I have a bell plant aswell, itwasn't doing so well, but with the recent heat wave it has takin off, avg temp was like 18 or so and then it was hitting 30's, so the stunted little red beauty plant has put on a ton of new growth and about 9 buds are present. yay :)
