potato berries??

I noticed berries growing on my yukon gold? Is this bad? Howcome they didn't form last year when I grew taters? What do they signify... and will they still have potatoes?? Thanks for the help!

PS. They formed where the flowers were.

Don't eat the berries since they have toxins in them.
