Is this squash normal?

I just noticed the top of the squash where the flower has died off is now turning white and feels squishy. Is this normal or is something wrong

yup. Type blossom end rot (or even just BER) into the Search the Forum keyword box, to read a lot more about what it is, what it tells you, and what to do about it.

In addition to BER, do you think it could be poor/no pollination?

Probably not, the squishy is the best clue there. The little zucchini babies that never get fertilized tend to just shrivel up and drop off. They don't rot and get squishy. More likely the unpollinated one would shrivel up more evenly not just at the end.
