Garlic Rust

Well, looks like I have Garlic Rust this year. This will probably cause early die down and reduce bulb size. Time to take notes. No garlic, onions, leeks and alike in this bed for 3 years. Rotation, rotation, rotation.

I pulled one of the garlic plants this evening. Looks like it might be a decent harvest after all.

Very nice! Would the rust have eventually disfigured the cloves or was it a question of diminished photosynthesis and stunted growth?

Aw, too bad. Hope it doesn't hurt your crop too badly.

The little I have read, sound like it stunts the bulb growth, but does not effect the cloves. In other words, I can plant these cloves this fall

I think I have some type of bean rust this year, but it appears to be staying on the lower leaves .
