Yard long bean seeds - I got 'em if you want 'em

I left some of my yard longs a bit too long before picking, so I decided to just let them dry out for seed. I picked a handful of the beans last night and pulled the seeds. They are on the counter drying out. They pretty much covered an entire paper plate. Considering that I've only got maybe a 5' row of these planted, there are more seeds than I can use in 10 years.

Maybe someone up north can plant them now. I've got no more trellis room for them. So if anyone wants them, I'd be happy to send you some. Shoot me an email or PM me and we'll work it out.

jmoore,

That sounds like fun, but could they have cross pollinated with any other beans :?:

I'm about as far north as you can get, without being in canada. It maybe a little late even here for planting.

There are green beans and yellow bush beans on the other side of the fence. So I doubt there was any cross pollination going on. FWIW, the beans I didn't let go to long tasted great.
