I planetd a vegetable garden about two months ago, my second year. About 3weeks ago a cone shaped, possible fungus has shown up in the soil. It is light drown cone with, what looks like black seeds in the middle. grows in clusters. It doesn't seem to grow in any sort of pattern or in any area of the garden more than another. I wish I could post a picture. Any ideas? I am trying to figure out if it is harmful or not. Here are pictures

Those are so cool. I've never seen anything like them.
I Googled "cup fungi black objects" and found them.

Birds nest fungi and shotgun fungi....harmless
