My little garden photos

Okey, I was watching everyone else's, and now it is my turn. My plot is small 8 by 25 feet in the community gardens. I use raised beds and pot mainly so I can use almost all compost soil(with some rock dust, biochar, worm castings, pet moss, and vermiculite). I use bunny and guinea pig bedding with manure for mulch.

That's before I got in at the end of March

Your garden is beautiful! What a lot of time and work you must have put into for such a large transformation in such a short time! Looks awesome!

I would have to say that your salads are beautiful too. So pretty in fact, that I wouldn't want to eat them, but them on my table as a centerpeice. : )

Well, the leaves are very hairy, so even though they are edible raw, it is kind of hard to do. Juicing takes care of that - I just juice them as any greens -with some carrot or apple or grapefruit juice to make it taste better.

Mansgirl, if you don't eat them, they will wilt no matter what, so eat them and get some of their beautiful essence in your cells!

Thank you guys. Unfortunately I forgot I put all these pictures in and deleted some of them from my flicker, because I needed space for the new ones(Flicker allow just 200 pictures with free accout, maybe I should see, if I can post from my facebook).

OK, I hadn't thought of trying to juice them. Hmm 8) Do you have a serious juicer--the auger kind rather than the centrifugal?

Here's a better idea, get a free photobucket account, plenty of picture storage, easy copy of codes for boards, and it's free.
