Hi All,
I'm new to the forum and to gardening. I inherited a modest little patch with the home I just purchased.
I have some tall, hardy looking plants growing and crowding my raspberry bushes but I don't know what they are.
Are these weeds? Should I yank them?
Thanks!

In this pic they're off to the back right.

It does look sort of similar to mugwort, but the mugwort leaves are much more deeply lobed:

so I don't think it is that.
But, Kisal, I'm not 100% convinced on the wild geranium either. It's a common weed for me and doesn't quite look like that. It's too late now, but maybe tomorrow, I will try to find some and see what I think. Maybe there's different species, varieties with slightly different leaves?

I'm trying to compare your leaves to mine and since I can't get the photos side by side I am having difficulty. javascript:emoticon('') [/code] I really don't know what mine is either - came with the house - very hardy, tall and has yellow flowers all over. The elderly couple who owned the house before me called it false sunflower. It spreads like crazy. I have been yanking a lot out every year for about 20 years now.
Edit: Once I posted it was easier to compare. Leaves are a little different.
