Let's talk about SPROUTS!
What kinds can you eat? What's the best way to produce enough for a small family? Where do you get bulk seed? What are your favorites and how do you eat them (salads, sandwhiches, etc)

I mostly sprout mung beans because I love homemade egg foo young. Just had some yesterday and there is enough left for more today.
I sprout in a quart mason jar with a screen on the top. When the sprouts fill up the jar I transfer them to a large plastic container and keep them in the fridge for a few days if they last that long.
I had been buying them a pound at a time from one catalog or another, but recently a friend of mine told me she bought 20 pounds or so from a feed store when she was traveling in Idaho. She gave me about 5 pounds in trade for my egg foo young recipe.
