First Garden With Major Issues.Please help.

I'm having alot of problems as of late. I've posted some pics of a few of my plants. Any info will be much appreciated.

Wow 30 views and not a single reply. I am in the helpful gardener forum right now aren't I?

It's difficult to know what a post is asking about from a vague "problems" topic title. People "drop by" to find out what's needed, but seeing many urls and no specific questions, probably left, not knowing what to say.

I myself haven't been here in the--what?--3 hours since your post went up. Many people only drop by once, maybe twice, a day. I too haven't looked at each url's photo, but wanted to say that everyone is a volunteer, no one is monitoring the board 24 hours a day, and please try to give us a hint in your post title about what kind of help is needed.

"First Garden with Major Issues.Please help" can be anything from "I don't know the best way to plant my seeds" to "my tomato plants are collapsing from too much fruit" to almost anything else.

Help members to be Helpful Gardeners by giving as specific a title as possible. Thank you.

Yes aside from the spotted eggplant leaves which I think looks like flea beetle damage and the brown pepper? Leaf your holding up ( just clip off unless there are others?) I can't tell what issues you're asking about.

Your pepper plant looks like mine leaves hanging down. We have been having non stop rain my plants looked wilted for several weeks then all the bell peppers died. The other problem I am having is a 5" tall plant is trying to grow chili peppers already this is because the plants were probably 3 months old when I bought them. There is no way to know how old the plants are in those tiny little plant trays. I have re planted my bell peppers from seeds 6 seeds in each spot when they start coming up I thin them out to 1 plant for each spot.

Agree with above-- we try to be helpful, but you get what you "pay for;" in this case the paying is investing your effort to ask specific questions and give good information. The more information you give us, the better help we can give you. In this case you gave about zero information.

Top picture is presumably some kind of pepper plant? It doesn't look too bad except maybe a tad wilty, and your soil looks a little dry. What has your weather been like, temps? rain?

I don't know what kind of a plant #2 is, but the markings on the leaves look like sunburn. Especially when plants are young and tender or are recently moved outside from protected locations, the direct sun can be a bit much for tender leaves and they burn. That leaf will never heal, but the new growth will be better adapted and will be fine.

#3 insect damage

#4 pepper plant showing insect damage, wilting, and a general spindliness/ maybe legginess. Wilting is always difficult because plants can wilt from too much water or too little water. But you would know which the conditions have been. The spindliness could be lack of nutrients or not enough sun.

Have no idea what the concern is in the bottom two pictures.

plant #2 is a japanese eggplant. glad to hear it is just sunburn and not disease.
the first of the bottom two pics is a watermelon plant. do I need to do something to contain it? it is starting to grow outside of the garden and into my yard.
the second is a view of my garden. anytips?

yea I have no clue how long the ones I bought were in those trays either. props for being from the boro. I lived right across from mtsu before I moved down here.

The pepper plant has some sun burned leaves, probably due to improper hardening off, but don't worry some of mine look like that also. I had mine in walls o water for a long time and a lot of the leaves got burned, just pick them off. Make sure you water you keep an eye on your pepper plants and make sure they get water on the very hot days.

Occasionally if you have broad swings in temperatures, that can cause the plants to look wilted and sickly. This is also true if you experience extremely warm or cool temperatures.
