So, here's my first attempt at raised bed gardening. I still have some work to do on the trellises. And I'm thinking of adding one more bed. I may have planted some of the plants too close together, but it's my first attempt. How far apard should my potatoe plants be anyways? And will they choke out the other plants if they're too close?
Also included is a pic of my honey bee hive. I love honey bees!

Yes, I like to keep about 6" or more of plant above the soil line. potatoes produce mostly above the seed potato. You can forum search the depth. Some people stack old tires, use buckets, etc.. I personal just hill up with soil, mulch, compost. Will the plants grow up taller as I add soil? and how deep should I go?
How about a cylinder of wire fencing. The plants can get the required sun light, while you slowly fill it with _________ ( your choice). Maybe wrap the outside of the cylinder with strips of cardboard, as you work your way up.
