Chinese greens........

I'm growing Choy sum and another called Nai Pe Tsar (i?) and they go to flower before they've grown more than a few leaves. Is this normal? Does anyone else grow these greens who might be able to tell me if I'm doing something wrong? They certainly don't provide much food at this rate.

Here is a link that maybe useful. https://www.kitazawaseed.com/index.html

Most of these asian greens are grown for the flowering stems. Stress can also cause premature bolting. Root bound, under watering, heat etc....
