Picture!

I have look to see everyones gardens, but have not seen many pictures. I am the person who looks at pictures in magazines and act like I am reading! Anyways, to get ideas for newbies like myself, lets see some of your vegetable gardens!

Here's a photo-series from last year: https://www.helpfulgardener.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12804
There are a bunch more from last year somewhere in the Tomato Forum.

My methods are unorthodox, I admit. But it's fun!

The discussions with the most photos almost *never* have the word "pictures" or "photos" or anything in them. Just read the forum and 1) you'll learn quite a lot and 2) you'll see many photos.

Please remember that not everyone has a digital camera, not everyone with a digital camera has an online account, and not everyone with an online account puts gardening photos there.

I understand, but it is nice to see all the different ways people garden and their results. Having a spot to post pictures for others to look at is something people enjoy. It is also a spot for people to brag a little on the great gardening they do.

Applestar: Great job on the gardens

Double Dog: Great job, garden look awesome

I really like how everyone has a different garden, but the results are great. Inspiring. So much so, I took my helpers out and started part of the garden
This is the small portion of the garden. I had a pile of last years clippings, so we put them around the plants.

Wider would be better, but then you would plant a double row

Awesome veggie starts.

Here is my garden. I have several varieties of peppers in front, tomatoes, and tomatillos on the left (including the beastly over 3 foot tall beef-master), potatoes and green beans in the middle, and squash zucchini and cucumbers on the back.

Also out of sight are eggplants, radish, asparagus bed, strawberries, and an herb garden.

I know the plants are very close but I have very limited space as you can see, and get the most yield out of my plants this way. The rows are about 3 feet from each other, but each plant is almost touching the one next to it.

Very nice Dremmle, I like the fence, because I (not having a fence) will endure some encounters with Deer! Put on some liquid fence, and crossed my fingers.

HAHA Deer are not a problem for me, I live in the city of Dallas. The fence keeps out neighborhood kids who like fresh veggies as much as I do!

Jal that looks great! I would love to have that much space. My idea garden will look alot like that, except I would have one of those buckets full of peppers!

Here are a few more pics for the thread.

These are all from this years garden so far. The peas and beans haven't been as prolific as the past couple years so I suppose I'll need to dig in some extra manure for next year.

Visit my photobucket page for more images from the past couple years.

Ha ha ha, don't think I haven't considered that already. Actually I would like to put a couple of square boxes in the middle with some flowers vegetables and seating. That lawn actually was a swimming pool when I bought the house. It was however half full with concrete and dirt from my neighbors old driveway.
