unfortunately I can't say that I do. we used to have two lemon trees but they never did much so we had to put them down. :(

but since this is my first real attempt at growing vegetables, some tropical fruit may make the menu next year, if this year works out well for me.

I can say the same for you. I am jealous that u get snow. hot weather all the time and 100% humidity can get old, believe it or not.

to be honest it makes me nervous that u think my pole bean looks "interesting," makes me think there is something wrong with it.

....anyways as you requested here is a less artistic photo of my pole beans.

I have them growing up the edges of my trellises (because the edges are "poles")

on a side note, the tomatoes I have growing are sweet 100s...does anyone have experience growing them? or any helpful tips for me about the tomatoes?

what is your mulch, is that hay/straw?

it is hay (with a smattering of oak leaves due to the trees near by)...why do you ask? is it bad? or good?

Hay can be not so good depending in the kind and when it was cut. It can be full of seeds causing hay and/or weeds to sprout in your garden. We used first cut marsh hay in the garden on the farm I grew up on and never had a problem. Grass alfalfa mix though ended up being a disaster!
I've never heatd of a problem with straw though, and I don't knoow about FL but up here it's a lot cheaper than hay.
