Carribean red hot chilies

2 times hotter than normal habaneros


anyone else ever grown these little fire balls?

Well, if you are talking about the bhut jolokia, which is often called the hottest pepper in the world, no, I haven't tried any previously. But I did plant some seeds and have found that if given bottom heat, they seem to sprout alright. I've heard that they can be a bit fussy about fruit-set, though.

no these are a type of habanero native to south America. instead of ripening to orange they ripen to a bright red.
