New Gardener...Any helpful tips? (included pics)

hi everyone. this is the first year trying to grow vegetables for me. I grew the majority of the plants I have from seeds. I was hoping people could give me some tips for ensuring a healthy crop. here are some pictures of the plants I have:

summer squash:

I am also trying to grow herbs for the garden too, I know its a vegetable forum but I'm excited about these too so I want to share the pictures

chives:

cilantro:

basil:

how am I doing so far? do they look good? or bad?
the pictures of the plants that are in the ground are about 6 weeks old (can't remember exactly when they sprouted) and the smaller corn is about 2 weeks since I planted the seeds, and the herbs are somewhere in between the two.

any tips or comments would be great, I really want to be successful at this stuff but have never tried anything like this before.

It's all looking good. You've done great! If I had any tips, it would be just for your climate in Florida, next year you might want to start some of those seeds sooner. Tomatoes for example really like weather between 70 - 85 degrees F. Anything much over that, they don't do as well. By the time it gets much above 90 they don't set much new fruit or ripen very well. So you would do better to plant your tomato seeds in January or so, to have plants ready to set out once it warms up enough. Give up on them when it gets too hot and then start a new batch of seeds in August.

I live in snow country and I started my tomatoes and herbs earlier than you did.

thank you very much RG, I will definately keep the tip on the tomatoes in mind, we had a colder than usual winter here and I was hesitant when starting my seeds because I was afraid the plants would get too big before I could plant them outside.

I hope to have updated photos once the plants get bigger
