grow carrots in a cold frame?
We want to grow carrots this year. We don't have any experience with carrots. Can I grow them in a cold frame the whole growing season? Any advise on growing carrots will be greatly appreciated!

Save your cold frame for things that need it more. I'm also in SW Ohio (Cincinnati) and I have carrot seeds planted in the ground. They are in a poly tunnel (plastic over hoops) but that's because they are in with transplants that need it more. Carrots are cold weather crops; the seeds can be planted "as soon as the soil can be worked." That should be now for you.
