HD Vs. Lowe's on potatoes ,garlic, onions

I would have to go with Home Depot on the their onion, garlic, and potato selection. For one they are much cheaper at HD by about half or more. HD's has American grown where Lowe's stuff is from Holland. The potatoes I got from Lowe's also had about 4-5 rotten spuds in each package when I got them home. I than took the good ones and put them in my potato holding box where I lost several more to rot days after this. The spuds from HD are further along in their eye production as well. Your mileage may vary but this is what I have come up with. The garlic it about 2-3 times as expensive at Lowe's and it is elephant garlic (not really garlic and only one bulb), HD has 2 small bulbs per pack for $1.98.

Just thought I would throw this out there for anyone interested. As always don't let this be the golden rule, judge for yourself. I'm just relaying what I have found at "MY" local stores.

But on a good note the garden center gates are open finally, can you say spring is on the way.
