I am thinking of getting one of these to help harden off the plants I start indoors this year? I plan several heirloom plants this year that are just not available local. Anyone have any history with one of these?
I am thinking about putting a raised bed under it for early peas and maybe jump start some melon plants?
Thanks

Hmm....It looks like it might be kind of flimsy.
Now, I have never used one, or ever seen one in person for that matter, but I will surmise that you could build your own version of something like this much more cheaply.
Research what are called "low tunnels."
In a nut shell, you take lengths of pvc pipe and secure the ends into the ground, creating a semi-circle of pipe sicking up in the air. You then do this every so many feet. Then, you drape clear plastic across the hoops, creating what looks like a "low tunnel."
This basic design could be modified to suit your needs.
