Anaheim or Big Jim pepper id?

Ok, I screwed up when I planted peppers this last spring. I thought I would remember which one I planted but... So now I've got two varieties that are new to me and I can't tell which one is which. Their peppers are about the same size and shape. One has a grassy flavor that wasn't nothing special. As it ripened it got sweet but had no heat. The skin was tougher on this variety. The second had some heat and was pleasant both green and ripe.

I would prefer to plant more of the second variety but I can't tell which one is Anaheim and which one is Big Jim. Any ideas?

Big Jim should have been much larger than Anaheim, and probably hotter since they are sold as the medium heat Hatch pepper, and my anaheims have very little heat. Were you eating these fresh or roasted? Both are meant to be eaten green and roasted, although anaheims are often used dried after they ripen.

if you like the second variety, save seeds from those and grow them. names are only names and mean nothing really.
