Ripening butternut squash indoors?

Here in CT the vines have mostly rotted. I have a few softball sized squash out there.

Can I harvest them and ripen them indoors somehow? They are tannish with some green veins. And they ain't getting any larger.....or riper!

Thanks for any help!

Bring them in, wipe them off to be sure they are clean and dry, and put them in a warm sunny windowsill, turning occasionally to be sure they get sun on all sides. It's not guaranteed they will ripen, depends on how far along they are, but they may. May not have quite as much flavor as the truly vine ripened ones, but it's better than wasting your patiently grown squash!
