freezing garlic cloves?

Can someone explain this to me? I bought 2 cloves of elephant garlic the other day.

Sorry about this guys....I scrolled down and say there was a post recently about this. don't mind little ol' me. :0) I did want to know how long you keep it in the fridge for. Months? days? Overnight?

I have had good results from freezing garlic in olive oil....I do the same with fresh basil and that works very well also.
