husky Golds turn red?

I just noticed 4 tomatoes on my Husky Gold plant that Ive over looked...they are bright red! I wish I knew they would turn red if left on the vine and I could have had some beautiful gold AND red tomatoes. BUMMER! Also...my tomato plants are BARELY producing these days...still green and growing but I'm not picking fruit as often. Should I pull them out of the ground?

Why would you pull them if they're still green and growing?

Because they are barely producing and taking up so much space! I would rather clear it out and make room for my fall garden as I am very limited on space (9'x12' garden space). I live in Southern California. If I don't pull them out I have a feeling they will never stop growing! It has about 2 or 3 tomatoes on the whole plant and they are about the size of a super ball. Not sure its worth it.

Go for it. It's your garden and you're the boss. 8) :)
