We needed sweet potatoes for supper tonight and I think at 1lb 7oz, these two filled the bill.

did you already eat them? Your supposed to let them cure for about 10 days first.
Take a look at this https://www.garden.org/foodguide/browse/veggie/potatoes_harvesting/581
or Google "harvesting sweet potatoes".
Unless they were already cured than carry on. By the way those are some nice looking spuds.

Those are wonderful-looking sweet potatoes! And I'll bet they tasted just as good.
Do you serve them baked w/a little butter at your house? Or butter and brown sugar? Or...
Can't grow sweet potatoes here at the house. I mean, I can't even grow peppers or cukes or eggplant, much less something that wants soil temps of 75 deg.-plus for 6 weeks minimum. I mean, I love my redwood tree, but it wreaks havoc with my micro-zone.
So I purchase sweet potatoes/Garnet "yams."
