Hi guys,
some thing is eating away my corn leaves. I tried a pesticide from home depot but this didnt do any good. My corn is strong and tall and now suddenly all the leaves are just going off.
Please help.. what should be done. It is about time the corn will give flowers and then fruit. I don't want it to get ruined.[/img]

Are there just holes or is the whole leaf gone? Partially gone? broken or truly eaten?
Can't say I've ever seen an insect that will literally eat a leaf off of a corn stalk. Short of a deer and then they are usually more interested in pulling the tassel out of the whorl and spitting it on the ground after chewing on it for a bit. They'll move to eating the ear after it develops and arrives at or near peak.
