Tomato pest questions

Hi all!

Sunday while I was fixing the damage that TS Bill made to my tomato plants, I noticed 2 or 3 branches where the leaves had been eaten almost completly. I removed all damaged leaves & I did not see any pests while I was in the garden. I did not think much of it at the time but tonight, I found 2 more sets of damaged leaves. :(

Any ideas about what would eat the leaves of a plant & not the fruit? Also, how do I get rid of them before they finish what Bill started?

Thanks :)

Sounds like a horn worm. They blend in with the color of the plants. Look where the damage is. They usually are very close by. You'll be surprised when you find it.

Thanks, Diane :D
A friend gave me a bag of D-Earth, will that get rid of them if I sprinkle it on the ground around my plants?

Not if it's a horn worm.
Look at glix-Dono's avatar. That's what you should look for. They will cling on to the branch. I use cutters to get them off. I found number five today.
