Once the corn silks have wilted and begun to turn brown, there's a couple things you can do: drop mineral oil from a medicine dropper onto the silk just inside the tip of each ear (which suffocates the worms) or just pull the husk back a little and gouge the worm out.
Predators which prey on earworms include trichogramma wasps to destroy egg, lacewings, minute pirate bugs and damsel bugs, some nematodes. You can use BT (Bacillus thuringiensis) applied as a dust, early in the season. If it is really getting out of hand you can use botanical insecticides like rotenone or pyrethrin.
