Tomatoes turning yellow.

My tomatoes which as of yesterday were going from green to red are now turning yellow! What can cause that?

They were first red and now are yellow? What variety of tomatoes do you have?

Mine were green and have finally moved to yellow. I will be checking them today to see if they are red.

I guess I wasn't clear. I mean that thhe ones that ripened went from green to red. The ones left on the plant that were green, and there are a lot, are now all yellow!

they will go to red next. give them time :)

Last year my red variety went from green to light green to pink to red. This year my red variety is going from green to yellow to orange to red and still has green shoulders. The first one I picked was all four colors at once--I didn't know what to think! If it's turning color, than just give it more time ;)

Are they a red variety. Got a pic? could be disease.

Here you go Gixx...They are early girls. You can't see the color. When you look at them they look yellow...In the pic they look light green. The leaves all look healthy as can be.

Some of them are getting these lines on their shoulders. From uneven watering? We have either had dry days or off and on heavy drenching rains. They are in a garden which is raised to allow for good drainage.

Sorry I can't help did some research only to come up with nothing. I'm sure someone will have an answer.

Are the plants okay, is it just the fruit turning yellow? Have you tried to eat them at all?

I'm growing early girls and they turn yellow before they turn red. The one next to the yellow ones looks like yellow to orange.
Did you pick them because of the days to maturity? I did. :lol:

Oh I'm sorry I must have miss your 2nd post. I thought you were saying Green-red-yellow. They are probably alright. :oops:
