Can you identify this squash

I am growing some summer yellow squash. Except one of the plants is a little different. It is spreading lengthwise...it is now probably 10 feet long (rather than spreading out in a circle like the other yellow squash), it has clingy tentacles (like a cucumber that would hook onto a trellis if one was available), and the squash are short and very fat and greenish/yellow. I don't know if it is a different variety of squash? I can't find anything like it. Any ideas?

Welcome to the Helpful Gardener forum! I'm glad you found us! :)

Other members would probably be better able to help you ID your mystery squash, if you were to post a picture or two for us to see.
