Gopher damaged Squash, do you think it'll pull through?

I've got a summer squash that had been producing wonderfully for about a month and then the gophers got to it. I think they munched the roots on one side of the plant, judging by the disturbed soil. The plant did not immediately wilt afterward, it dropped all of the young fruits and female flowers and went overtime trying to mature the 5 largest fruits. I've picked all of the fruits, tossed away the small ones that fell off, and I gave it some fertilizer and I've been watering it every other day. The largest leaves aren't looking good and there are no new female flowers, but there are a lot of new male flowers and young leaves. I'm hoping it'll get over the shock of the gopher damage and come back.

It's looking good, you did a great job of working to save it. Should be fine as long as the gopher doesn't come back for more! :(
