Melon Raddish

has any one heard of a melon raddish or even tasted and what is it tast like.

Hi Starflare, yes, we have heard of, and planted them...
They did not do well here, but in Minnesota, the weather goes from COLD to HOT almost overnight, we got alot of top, and no radish...

we got alot of top, and no radish..
That is exactly all I have been getting for months-Guess its too hot or wet here in Fl. for them.I have only gotten 4-5 radish.I will keep trying :)

I grew some watermelon radishes this year, I scattered the seeds throughout the garden among my other vegetables so they weren't in full sun and they did very well. They taste just like any other radish as far as I can tell, but the color really spices up salads.
