Pepper identity & Oddball squash

This is what I harvested on July 6, 2009. I can't believe the garden is still producing so well since we have had nearly two weeks of temps over 100 degrees F. Early in the spring, I filled a five gallon bucket with Walmart bags to use when I harvest. The bucket is now almost empty. I've harvested and given away a lot of vegetables this year.

I bought my grandson a six pack of jalapeno pepper plants for the garden this spring. When the "jalapeno" peppers started producing, I had three varieties of peppers from the six pack. I recognize the normal jalapenos on the right and the serrano's in the middle. I am baffeled by the peppers on the left. Anyone know what they are?

This is a fused yellow crookneck squash. It grew from a single stem, but had two blooms. It has been so hot, my polinating bugs have stopped working. I've been hand polinating my squash. I had one like this early in the season and was not aware the polinators had not started work, so it didn't make it. It just withered on the vine.

I have a squash that looks identical to yours (just a bit smaller) on the vine right now. :D
