Pics of my Small Rhode Island Garden

Here it is! I love it!! It's a bit crowded, but doing very well. In the lettuce bed, you'll see just one iceberg remaining. We've been eating up salads with fresh lettuce quite a bit! I have to add more!

That is a lovely garden. Your vegetables and plants look cool and fresh. I garden in Texas. We have had two weeks of really hot temps. My garden is still producing well, but it really looks tired from the heat. I guess when we start getting a little cooler weather, I will plant some veggies for the fall. I'm looking forward to my garden looking cool and fresh again.

Nice garden you have going there.

Where in RI? I live in East Providence. Benn tough gardening this year with all of the rain we've had. Especially if you planted late like we did. We now have quite a few different veggies either flowering or starting to grow fruit.

Cranston and today I picked 3 small pickling cukes. I've gotton about 3 zucchinis, plenty of green onion and lettuce and I'm hoping by the weekend some yellow squash. This is my second year with a raised bed, and I'm so far, having good luck!

I'm just outside of Boston & I've had the same rain issue that you guys have had in RI. My plants are starting to flower but other than a few small hot peppers, I've got nothing.
I'm getting discouraged. :(

I'm doing pretty good, despite the weather. I've picked about 4 or 5 zucchinis so far, got 5 pickling cucumbers, and some green onions. One good thing with the cooler temps is the lettuce, which I've put in a smaller second batch. My iceberg lettuce, surprisingly, was the best! Nice round full heads! And I've heard many people don't have good luck with iceberg.

My big mistake...over-crowded, which, is not really effecting the individual plants, but I think I'm going to have to be lowered by hellicopter to reach to harvest!

I'm near Boston also and I have some green tomatoes and about 5 med potatoes that I couldn't wait to see. I'm leaving the rest to grow larger.
My cukes have flowers, my onions look like they're growing, I finally have tiny peppers. Peppers just don't like my garden. But I will keep trying.
My plants always seem to take longer than everyone else. They do catch up so don't give up.
Maybe being near the ocean has something to do with it.
I'm picking raspberries right now so I have a diversion. lol
Nice garden rigardengal.
