I live in england and its predicted a heat wave in the 30`s (degreese) I recenly planted my tomatoes out around a week or so ago. I think I might need to shade them . not sure also my peas are outside will they need shade to.
The peas will definitely need shade. Many varieties of tomato thrive in the low 30s, but will start to suffer and/or go dormant (estivate) at approx. 33 deg. C.
