Purpleish califlower

Checked cauliflower today. It was nice and white 2 days ago but noticed today some purple. Does anyone know the cause of this or is it normal ? Just to add in we have been geting alot of rain. Soil has never had a chance to dry in the past week or so. Any info would be appreciated.

happens when the head itself gets enough direct sunlight. many commercial growers tie leaves together over the head to prevent the dicoloration...it won't hurt anything, though, taste- or health-wise.
