Help! Little black bugs?

I was checking out my garden today and found little black bugs COVERING my bean plants... not the leaves so much as the beans, flowers, and flower buds. What do I do?! I don't want to lose my beans or my plants.

The best I can describe the bugs... is they are really small (flea sized) and squish out red stuff that looks a little like blood.

Help!

Do they hop really fast? Sound like flea beatles. If that's what they are, break out the magic spells and incantations, for they are the very devil to get rid of!

No, they don't move at all... the are just latched on for dear life.

I got some organic soap spray.... seems to have helped, not near as many today.
