Cauliflower

Ok The Cauliflower was laying down but now it is straight up in the air is this good or bad. help...

Soil looks a bit on the dry side, but maybe that's just how the soil looks where you live. (Do take that observation with a grain of salt. I haven't planted anything in the ground for over 25 years. I garden only in containers these days. :) )

If it was laying down because the whole plant is a bit floppy, you might want to pile some more soil around the stem (this is called "hilling"). Sand works even better because the particles will sift down into gaps that form from the side-to-side movement of the plant. The plant's only going to get more top-heavy as it grows.

ok I will do that today then because the plant above it I doubt you can see it in the pic says it can get a 50 lb head on it so I will hill that also...

You may also want to try a support cage (such as a tomato cage). That will give the plant the extra support it might need. The wind blows 20 mph year round here it seems like so most all my plants have supports on them so the stems don't grow crooked.

I have another tomato cage I will go ahead and do that tonight till I get more soil.

ok I put the cage around her. I need more soil so I have to go out and also get organic weed killer we have clovers all over the place :(

Anyways how does she look.

It has been like 80 for 7 days now we are expecting a big cool down :( See they are confused LOL. I hope I see white soon :)
