My jalapeno plants produce many, but very small peppers

Hello,

I have two jalapeno plants that I grow indoors. Last year was my first year and they produced several very nice peppers about 2-3 inches long. So far this year they have set many fruit, but they're only about 1/2-1" long and are now already turning red. One plant is about 24"x24" and has set about 25 fruit! The other plant is about 26"x10" and has set about 12 fruit. Only 2 fruit are about 1" out of both plants. What do I need to do to get the fruit back to full size?

Thanks

Of course I'm only guessing but have you been fertilizing these plants? Pepper plants will grow to magnificent size but produce little fruit if they are overfed.

I just fertilized when they started flowering this year. I use a few drops of Miracle Grow liquid when watering about once a week.

I would say that Miracle Grow once a week is a little too much. Just stick with plain water for now and see what happens!
