Bush Bean crop size = Pole bean Crop size???
For 30 years I have planted Blue Lake Bush Beans but this year I am going to plant Blue Lake Pole Beans. I am wondering if the crop produced by 3 rows of pole beans will be equal to the crop produced by 3 rows of bush beans?

My father-in-law, who knows everything about gardening, told me to plant the bush beans. Last year I did the pole beans and had plenty to can. However, I did not like the bean as well for making dilly green beans. The bush beans will grow nice and straight and are easier to can. He said the bushes will be loaded with perfect, straight green beans!
The yield will be very similar between the two varieties. I am looking forward to not dealing with staking the pole beans!
