Might have to go all on out and start making LED lights myself. You sure can get cheap LED's from Hong Kong which come with resistors, since one of my other hobbies is model building and I do a ton of electrical work with them. I wouldn't see if being to difficult...maybe I'll give it a try.

I've broken lots of CFL's from indoor grows (and while I may be as mad as a hatter, that was even before the compacts became popular), and never really gave it a second thought? I don't think there is much in there really....Just vacuum and clean.

I like to build dollhouses and have been looking at LED's (more in the white color instead of the blue hue which of course is good for plants in the vegging stage) too. You can get some on ebay not badly priced.
