Question on soils

Ok, so this is my very first attempt at planting vegetables ever. I just got done planting them in pots and then looked at my bag of potting soil (Bayer Advanced All-in-One potting mix) and noticed that it said not to use with edible foods. Is this warning on there simply because they included a highly used pesticide in the potting mix, or does anyone know if this is truly detrimental to use with edible foods? I'm happy to start over, but would rather use the seeds I already have planted.

Any knowledge or advice would be warmly welcomed!

Seems this product has been discontinued and was intended for the use in growing flowers and not for vegetables.
I would heed the warning and start over.
