I was reading some of the forums and the back of my seed packages. What are the advantages of row planting and mound planting? Also same question about trellis's or just letting grow on ground. I went with straight eight and something called smr58. Any suggestions? :? Bambi

If your soil is heavy, you may want to plant in a raised hill, or mound. The raised soil warms up more quickly than the surrounding soil and drains better. All mine are planted in raised hills.
You can train them to grow up on a trellis to make picking easier and to keep the veggies off the ground.
