Bugs on my chinese cabbage. HELP!

I've recently been trying out some new plants in my garden, and one of them was chinese cabbage. I was really pleased when they came out, but now, as they are green and healthy, bugs have been eating it. On some of the chinese cabbages it is so severe that none of the leaves are remaining; only the center stem thing.

I'd really appreciate it if someone knows a way to get rid of the bugs and tells me it. I hope it's not made with chemicals; only natural substances.

Thanks a lot.

Since pollination is not problem for a crop like cabbage, you could buy some really inexpensive sheer material from the peice goods store and use that as a barrier. Simply drap the sheer material over the plants and weight it down along the edges.

I may have to do this, I plan on growing bok choy and napa cabbage. I live in zone 4b -- when would be the best time to start these? I know they like the cooler weather; but has anyone tried to grow it in the summer?
